"GOD's the M.C." Tee

The "GOD's the M.C." Tee series was inspired from my own ministry. As a gospel rap artist, alot of people can be so quick to put you on a higher level than everyone else because of your talent. I believe Trip Lee said it best,"I ain't no superstar...get your eyes off me." This statement couldn't be truer. As emcees, we are nothing but vessels that God chooses to use to get across his message of repentance and life given through his son Jesus. I like to say we are microphones that God picks up every now and then when he wants to freestyle...all we are doing is writting down the words we hear so we can spit them to you. My prayer is that none of us in this Holy Hip Hop game take credit for the work that God is doing. Point the glory back to Him. Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:5,"5 We do not preach about ourselves. We preach about Jesus Christ. We say that he is Lord. And we serve you because of him."
